Apple’s impressive Bluetooth trackers: an AirTag

AirTag is a Bluetooth tracker by Apple. You can locate it with your iPhone’s Find My app by simply attaching one on an item.

Even with its tiny size, the Apple AirTag has Bluetooth, ultrawideband, and NFG that will help you find it and your goods attached to it.

AirTag, small Bluetooth trackers, can easily be attached to an object like keys, and it can find out through your iPhone, iPad, or Mac.

This type of Bluetooth tracker is not new. Still, Apple’s Find My network, which comprises hundreds of millions of Apple devices, gives AirTag the biggest selling point support for third-party devices like headphones and bikes that have built-in Find My support are recently added by Find My network. The number of devices will increase on Find My and make it more robust. Suppose someone with another device on Find My network like an iPhone crosses its path. The AirTag will immediately communicate securely with the iPhone in the background to update the location of your lost item.

Apple’s Find My network accountability, strength, and reach can be seen on AirTag. But AirTag also provides a sense of security and privacy that other Bluetooth trackers unmatch. If an unknown AirTag travels with Apple’s AirTag, Apple will alert and notify the person. But few posts and journalists suggest on social media that those unwanted tracking deterrents don’t go far enough. In May, Apple said it would update the time it takes an AirTag to give an alert if it’s separated from its owner. Apple is also working on an android version which will be released later this year to help the android users “detect” the stranger’s AirTag moving with them.

An AirTag size closed to a junior mint candy.
Its diameter is a bit bigger than a junior mint or mentos, and it weighs roughly around two quarters. It feels well made, with one side being stainless steel and the other being white. In fact, for dust and water resistance, it’s rated IP67 and can survive 30minutes being sinking up to 1meter. Apple claims that the replaceable CR2032 battery, attached behind the back of stainless steel, will last a year. One is already installed in each AirTag. And your iPhone will get a notification when it starts to get low. And CR2032 batteries are common. You will like the fact that you can easily access the battery because Apple decided to make the battery replaceable.

The logo of Apple behind the stainless steel side can pick scratches just in a few days. The AirTag I have in Apple’s leather key ring holder on my key ring. The scratch marks it picked are not deep. In fact, the steel metal itself doesn’t get any scratch marks at all. About the logo, I am not sure how it is applied on stainless steel, but its looks like a scratch-off lottery ticket to me.

Easy AirTag setup with your iPhone

The steps of setting your AirTag are easy. Bring the battery tab close to your iPhone, and click the connect button. Same as you do to set up a pair of AirPods. Even with the extra steps like I had to update my phone to iOS 14.5, sign in to my iCloud account, and verify the lock code on iPhone, it’s straightforward. After this, you are prompted to name it. I attached it to my keys, so I give a name to my AirTag “keys.” These are the steps for how to set up and use your AirTag.

Find an AirTag by playing chime.
After connecting the AirTag to your Apple ID, use the Find My app, and you can interact with it under the items tab. to find your things, you can ping the AirTag attached with it and play a sound. Using the surface as a sound actuator, AirTag produces sound without any tiny speaker grills.
If you don’t have the Find My app open on your iPhone, you can use Siri. For example, you can say, “Hey Siri,” where are my keys?’ and the AirTag will chime in response.

location data don’t store by AirTag
Only you can see the location of your AirTag. AirTag itself can’t store the history and location data. If the AirTag comes across with another Find My device, like an iPhone, the location information is transferred encrypted and anonymously.
Only you can find out the location. Not even Apple knows the place of your AirTag. Other people can’t use any Bluetooth signals, which frequently rotate to track you.
Accessories for AirTag
The size of AirTags is small that, for example, can be put into a bag pocket but lacks a keyring hole. There is only one way to attach it with something else buy and use a case. The third-party instances are already being realized, and AirTag holders, which apple already sell.

A Stepwise Guide to Turn on the Auto HDR Mode on your Windows 11

Even if your gaming PC can support a 4K monitor, you’ll still need to turn on the high dynamic range (HDR) output if you really want to optimize your visuals. HDR displays offer a more vibrant, richer color palette to better use those extra pixels on higher-resolution displays. Although it isn’t quite HDR, the feature uses a compatible display’s ability to improve colors in games without sacrificing performance. Although Auto HDR is part of Windows main display settings, you won’t be able to benefit from it unless you have an HDR monitor. If you don’t have a compatible monitor connected to your computer, Windows 11 won’t let you use the feature. Here’s how to enable it if you have it. Check if the monitor supports HDR Auto HDR mode should theoretically work with all HDR-supporting monitors and TVs connected to a Windows 11 PC. Make sure you’re utilizing an HDR10-compatible HDMI 2.0 or DisplayPort 1.4 monitor. HDR requires a GPU that can provide the required resolution. If you’re ...
